David James Archuleta (born December 28, 1990) is an American pop singer-songwriter.

At ten years old he won the children's division of the Utah Talent Competition leading to other television singing appearances.When he was twelve years old, Archuleta became the Junior Vocal Champion on Star Search 2.In 2007, at sixteen years old, he became one of the youngest contestants on the seventh season of American Idol.In May 2008 he finished as the runner-up, receiving 44 percent of over 97 million votes.

Perkembangan dunia teknologi informasi dapat dikatakan memang sangat cepat, bahkan sering kali bagi sebagian orang merasa bahwa perkembangan baik software maupun hardware melebihi kebutuhan manusia. Komputer desktop maupun laptop telah banyak sekali mengalami perkembangan untuk peningkatan kinerja dan kehandalannya, namun ada salah satu perangkat komputer yang hingga saat ini masih terus digunakan karena keberadaannya dalam mempermudah hubungan antara manusia dengan komputernya sangat vital, yaitu Mouse.Mari kita sedikit mengulas perangakat kecil yang sangat penting namun sering kali terabaikan ini. Mouse, atau yang dalam bahasa Indonesianya disebut tikus, sering kita gunakan sehari-hari. Ternyata, banyak perkembangan mouse dari awal mulanya dibuat hingga mouse canggih yang sangat populer saat ini. Mouse mengalami perkembangan yang cukup signifikan walaupun terkesan lamabat apabila dibandingkan dengan perkembangan perangkat keras lainnya. Mouse pertama ditemukan oleh Douglas Engelbart dari Stanford Research Institute pada tahun 1963.Mouse adalah satu dari beberapa alat penunjuk (pointing device) yang dikembangkan untuk oN Line System (NLS) milik Engelbart. Selain mouse, yang pada mulanya disebut “bug” atau dalam bahasa Indionesianya “kumbang”, juga dikembangkan beberapa alat pendeteksi gerakan tubuh yang lain, misalnya alat yang diletakkan dikepala untuk mendeteksi gerakan dagu. Karena alasan kenyamanan dan kepraktisannya, mouse-lah yang akhirnya dipilih.Mouse pertama berukuran besar, dan menggunakan dua buah roda yang saling tegak lurus untuk mendeteksi gerakan ke sumbu X dan sumbu Y. Mouse optikal tidak perlu dibersihkan, berbeda dengan mouse bola yang harus sering dibersihkan karena banyak debu yang menempel pada bolanya sehingga menghambat putaran pada roda-roda sensor gerak vertikal dan horizontalnya dan berakibat mouse seolah-olah tidak merespon gerakan dari pengguna.Mouse optikal pertama dibuat oleh Steve Kirsch dari Mouse Systems Corporation. Sedangkan mouse yang menggunakan Infra Red kurang begitu populer karena jarak jangkauannya yang terbatas, selain itu juga kurang praktis karena antara mouse dan penerimanya tidak boleh terhalang dan harus berada pada rentang sudut tertentu.Dengan mengenali jenis-jenis mouse, maka kita akan mengerti mouse seperti apa yang kita butuhkan. Iklan dalam dunia teknologi informasi saat ini sangat gencar, apabila kita tidak membekali diri dengan pengetahuan dasar maka tidak menutup kemungkinan kita akan membeli brang yang sebetulnya tidak kita perlukan. Sebuah sisi baik dari kemauan mempelajari dan menggunakan dengan baik apapun perangkat yang kita miliki adalah paling tidak dapat menghindarkan kita dari sifat konsumtif yang berlebihan dan juga dapat mengatasi permasalahan yang mungkin terjadi disuatu hari dengan peralatan kita tersebut.
